Cleveland Browns' Josh Gordon facing season ban for drug test

All the good vibes for the Cleveland Browns? Yeah, they might be on hold for a bit.

ESPN is reporting that star WR Josh Gordon could face a season-long suspension for a positive drug test for marijuana.

Gordon would not deny or confirm the ESPN reports, and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, called them "not true."

The wide receiver was suspended last season without pay for the first two games of the season for violation of the league's substance-abuse policy. Gordon still led the Browns with 87 catches for an NFL-best 1,646 yards and had nine touchdowns in a breakout season in 2013.

According to Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo, the team was aware of the positive test — but not the possible year suspension.

The Browns were one of the standout teams of the first round of the 2014 NFL draft Thursday night by landing cornerback Justin Gilbert, Johnny Manziel and the Bills' first-round pick next year. But any thoughts of Manziel throwing the ball to Gordon might have to be put on hold for a year.
