(AP)In a minor surprise, the St. Louis Rams will have wide receiver Danny Amendola for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Amendola had been listed as "doubtful" after missing all of last week's practices with a foot injury. Amendola leads the Rams with 50 receptions for 538 yards, despite missing three games with a sprained SC joint, an injury he suffered in an Oct. 4 win over the Cardinals at the Edwards Jones Dome. Neither team has won a game since that day, with the Rams coming the closest with a 24-24 tie with the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 11.
Another player returning from an injury on Sunday is New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles, who has missed the last three games following hand surgery. The Saints will not have right tackle Zach Strief, who had been "questionable" with a groin injury. With Charles Brown (knee) already ruled out, undrafted rookie Bryce Harris will start at right tackle against the 49ers on Sunday.
