Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson definitely got away with one during a 23-20 victory against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
Jackson took a handoff from quarterback EJ Manuel and eluded Baltimore's defenders en route to a 16-yard touchdown run. It was Jackson's second touchdown of the year, which leaves him one score away from matching his entire total last season.
After the touchdown, Jackson ran to the back of the end zone and spun the football to celebrate as he hovered over it and screamed. Then Bills receiver Steve Johnson stood over the spinning ball and acted like it was a heater.
Prior to this season, NFL officials warned players they would be penalized 15-yards for spinning the ball after a touchdown. Jackson's celebration occurred within a few yards of an official, but the Bills were not penalized. Maybe the officials were feeling generous, or the heat from that ball made them forget the rules.
Considering Jackson's previous multi-touchdown game was against New England last November, Jackson may have spun on his head after a second score on Sunday.
