Ben Roethlisberger has a second career as a pooch punter

There's probably no play in football with such a stark distinction between usefulness and cool factor as the pooch punt. It looks like the kind of muffed flub that would happen if you or I tried to punt, but it's an effective means of pinning the other team deep. And it works best because the other team never knows it's coming.

Case in point: Ben Roethlisberger's perfect pop punt late in Sunday's game against the Browns. The Steelers were up 20-3 but facing a fourth-and-18. Roethlisberger did a convincing job of selling a what-the-hell-we're-goin'-for-it play, and then dinked the ball right down to the Cleveland 2.

The Steelers would go on to win 27-11. Roethlisberger would finish with two touchdowns on 217 yards of passing and 28 yards of punting.
