Vikings running back Adrian Peterson doesn't have a lot of help this season, but sometimes he can just take over on his own.
Peterson, the reigning MVP, gave the Vikings a fourth-quarter lead on a run in which he refused to go down before he scored.
On fourth-and-inches, Peterson got the ball up the middle. He got the first down but wanted more. He was hit hard at the 5-yard line and lifted in the air, but came down and kept his balance. He was also held up by Vikings tight end Chase Ford, and then Peterson started churning. Nobody could get him down.
Peterson dragged defenders and didn't stop until he was in the end zone. It was a confirmation that Peterson is still a beast -- even though the Vikings eventually lost 27-23 -- when the ball is in his hands.
