After being blown out in Sunday's Super Bowl, Shaun Phillips of the Denver Broncos was understandably feeling a bit down. He was also feeling a bit apologetic and he fired off an "I'm sorry" text to one of his three sons after the Broncos' 43-8 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

But leave it to the youngsters to put it all in perspective. Phillips' son Jaylen responded by texting his dad a short note of love and reassurance. Phillips tweeted it out while apologizing to all of his Twitter followers.

It doesn't get much sweeter than that.
