Could USC be getting in on the uniform craze?

At the very least, new helmets might be in store for the Trojans, according to a picture posted by Bro Bible sent to the site by a tipster.

The photo shows a couple assistants having fun with two different USC helmets — a black matte and shiny red dome. The matte is pretty sweet and would look awesome with a black uniform (for Oregon, maybe?). The red is a shinier version of the current helmet and has a black facemask instead of a gray one.

Both are very sharp, but both might never see the field. The picture does say that both helmets are just prototypes.
