VOD: Emporia State coaches know the value of a good water balloon fight

Today's video of the day comes from Emporia State, a fabulous Division II school in the heart of Kansas.

Coach Garin Huggins is a mean guy. It's the middle of camp and he's riding his players about their drills, their intensity, anything he can think of to get his Hornets to work harder and ultimately curse his name.

At one point, he gets so fed up with his players, that he has the entire team line up to do up-downs — in the blistering heat.

But there was a method to Huggins' tirade. As the players are cursing their lot, and sweating profusely as they drop to the ground and get up only to drop down again, the coaching staff is arming itself with water balloons.

Yes, what was a hellish practice turned into an epic water balloon fight, which makes this one of the more entertaining acting jobs we've seen from a coach in some time.
