VOD: Watch Miami run a two-minute drill from a quarterback's perspective with an in-helmet camera

Sam Cooper

We’ve written about several schools who have been using the new Schutt Vision helmets with built-in cameras, but we had not yet seen them in action – until now.

Miami released a video on Wednesday of senior quarterback Ryan Williams wearing the helmet while running the two-minute drill, and it gives fans a pretty cool look at the progression a quarterback goes through on each play.

The first play we see features Williams running out and receiving a pass after handing the ball to a receiver on a reverse. It’s pretty cool to see and obviously a fantastic tool for coaches to use.

I will warn you though, the footage is pretty shaky. If you’re prone to motion sickness, you may want to sit this one out.
