VOD: Ohio State players get Skittles, juice box post-practice

Urban Meyer would have been a great youth soccer coach.

The Ohio State coach gave his team flashbacks to youth sports with the brown bags of post-practice treats on Tuesday. Included were carrots, Skittles and a juice box.

How many players do you think channeled Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch with the Skittles? It was also entirely unsurprising that the candy got a much bigger cheer than the carrots did.

We definitely laughed at Meyer's gifts for his team. Though we're not going to lie, the whole skit would have been better had the brown bags included small participation trophies for everyone at practice. All of the members of OSU's football team have likely gotten a participation trophy at one point in their lives, and given the debate inspired by Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison this week, they would have been exceptionally topical.
