In this new era of college football, uniforms are becoming almost as much a spectacle as the teams themselves.

But for three teams this season, the flashy uniforms will actually serve a greater good. Under Armour has developed special uniforms for South Carolina, Texas Tech and South Florida to support the company's Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services for injured service members and their families.

This is Under Armour's third year of providing unique uniforms to various teams.

This year's uniforms commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Sept. 11 and have a stars and stripes design. As in past years, last names will be replaced with one of the following words: Duty, Honor, Courage, Commitment, Integrity, Country, or Service.

South Carolina, whose uniforms are pictured, will be the first to wear the collection against Auburn on Oct. 1. Texas Tech will wear their version against Oklahoma State on Nov. 12 and South Florida will sport their combination against Miami on Nov. 19.

The jerseys will be auctioned off on each school's website on the Monday following each game. All the proceeds will go to Under Armour's "Believe in Heroes" campaign.

Gotta say, the South Carolina uniforms are pretty sick and a nice rebound for Under Armour after what the company did to Maryland's uniforms.
