Towson plans ‘pink-out’ to draw awareness to breast cancer

Towson is taking Breast Cancer Awareness seriously. The Tigers aren't just going with pink wristbands and shoes -- they're putting pink stripes on their helmets and asking all fans to wear pink to Saturday's game.

The "Pink Game," as Towson is promoting it, will be against Maine on Saturday. The women's fraternity Zeta Tau Alpha will be selling pink T-shirts at the game, with profits going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation that raises funds to find a cure for breast cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink, which should create a "pink-out" in the stadium.

The team is getting into the festivities with pink socks, athletic tape and the pink stripes on the helmets.

It's a good look for a great cause.
