Call it indecision or supreme athleticism, but Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel sure knows how to make football exciting.
During the Aggies' first touchdown on Saturday against Arkansas, Manziel dropped back to pass, then was flushed from the pocket, then decided to run, then decided not to run, then pump faked and ultimately completed the 4-yard touchdown strike to Mike Evans with a jump pass.
Whew, I'm tired just rehashing what happened.
Johnny Football, as he is affectionately known to Texas A&M fans, pretty much showed his entire skill set in one 30-second play. He's a threat to run, he's a threat to pass and when he's feeling a little bit creative, he can channel his inner Tim Tebow with a jump pass.
Manziel is a redshirt freshman, so no one was sure how well he'd play against the SEC in his first year especially with a new coach and a new system, but so far it seems like the results are pretty positive.
Or at the very least, entertaining.
