Texas defensive lineman Chris Whaley doesn't get too many opportunities to show off the skills that got him recruited to the Longhorns as a running back.
He got a chance against Oklahoma. Whaley, now tipping the scales at 295 pounds, picked off a Blake Bell pass and rumbled 31 yards for a touchdown that gave the Longhorns a 10-3 lead in an eventual 36-20 victory.

Whaley ran for more than 6,000 yards in high school and played running back as a freshman at Texas. He switched to defense and started putting on weight to play the line before his sophomore season. And as a senior, he hasn't forgotten what it's like to rumble with the ball in his hands.
