Tennessee held its first-ever Student and Faculty Appreciation Day at practice on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
With over 1,000 students and faculty members in attendance, Tennessee coach Butch Jones invited them all onto the field as practice winded down to “help create a game-like atmosphere” for the kickers at the end of practice.
Once practice ended, the students and faculty remained on the field for Jones’ post-practice talk. As his talk winded down, Jones called out for some music and showed off some serious dance moves with his team.
Jones looked like he had enough after about 20 seconds when he put his arm up to signify the team break down, but his players kept going.
“Coach Jones, he’s got some swag,” said senior linebacker Curt Maggitt.
The Volunteers will host its Orange & White Spring game on Saturday where we will hopefully see some more Jones dance moves.
