TCU will wear purple chrome helmets this weekend
TCU will be sporting new chrome domes for this weekend's game against Iowa State. This will be the Frogs' second Big 12 game, but the beginning of a grueling stretch of conference contests for the rest of the season.
Apparently, as far as helmets go, TCU is agreeing with trendsetter Oregon in thinking that chrome is the new matte.
