If you spend any time in central Pennsylvania near State College, it is hard not to notice small tributes to former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno all over the place. From car stickers to billboards, they are everywhere (I'm a recent Penn State grad. I would know).

Someone in Sauk Centre, Minn., (over 1,000 miles from State College) took their tribute to a whole other level by cutting “JOE PA” into the field behind his or her house.

The display is so large that it was easily picked up by Google satellites and appears very clearly on Google Maps. No matter what your opinion on Paterno is, you must admit that this is pretty impressive.
