Over the past summer, Notre Dame wide receiver TJ Jones pursued a lifelong interest by earning his diving certification and traveling to SeaWorld in Orlando to dive with sharks. Jones, the Fighting Irish’s leading receiver and a senior captain, is very interested in a career involving aquatic life after his playing days are over.

To show support for Jones and his Notre Dame teammates, some staff members at SeaWorld made a video with two divers under water holding up “Go TJ #7” and “Go Irish” signs.

Jones showed appreciation in a tweet, saying that he hopes “to be in their place one day.”

Notre Dame documented Jones' experience with SeaWorld with the video below.

Jones leads the Irish with 44 receptions for 631 yards and six touchdowns. The Irish host Navy on Saturday.
