Sam Houston State fan’s ‘Muck Fanziel’ T-shirt gets reaction from Texas A&M receiver

Sam Houston State won its season opener last week 74-0, albeit against a Houston Baptist team that was playing its first-ever college football game.

But that score along with the fact that SHSU has become a perennial power in the Football Championship Subdivision and eight FCS teams beat FBS teams in Week 1, have emboldened Bearkat fans as they prepare to face No. 7 Texas A&M and Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel today.

One unidentified Bearkat fan created a T-shirt that might be seen in the visitors' section today at Kyle Field. The 'Muck Fanziel' shirt takes aim at Manziel who has become a bit of a villain - fair or unfair - in the wake of his off-the-field trouble this summer for allegedly selling autographs and his behavior in Week 1 against Rice.

Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals Jones wasn't exactly defending Manziel when he reacted to the shirt on Twitter, but it did spur him to make a prediction with a hashtag "#blowOut time".
