Dr. Phil interviews Ronaiah Tuiasosopo
On Thursday, Dr. Phil McGraw aired the first half of a two-part interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the admitted hoaxer behind the catfishing trap that snared former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o. In that segment, Tuiasosopo admitted to romantic feelings for Te'o. He also said that the voice on the phone during those infamous voicemails was, in fact, him and not a female cousin.

Unconvinced, Dr. Phil had him talk on a phone, monitored by a show producer. Here's video of that:
According to Deadspin, several voice-print experts said the voice on that phone matched the voice on the voicemails. For a refresher, here's that voice:
Tuiasosopo ended the interview by apologizing to everyone involved in the hoax. Where it goes from here, we don't know ... but everyone's going to be a lot more careful on the phone, that's for sure.
