The Orlando Sentinel reported Sunday night that Bortles, a redshirt junior, will forgo his final season of eligibility to turn pro. An official announcement is expected Monday morning, the report said.

Bortles showed a strong arm and great mobility as he continually moved up NFL draft boards as the season progressed. He capped his season off with 301 yards passing, 93 yards rushing and four total touchdowns in the 52-42 Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor.

In total for the season, Bortles threw for 3,581 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing nearly 68 percent of his passes. He also rushed for 272 yards and scored another six scores on the ground.
