T.J. Yeldon’s mocking of Johnny Manziel will cost him a quarter.

According to the Anniston Star, Yeldon has been suspended for a quarter against Colorado State on Saturday for the “show me the money” and double throat slash celebration he did following a touchdown against Texas A&M last weekend.

The “show me the money” celebration is one Manziel and his teammates have been doing since last season.

Alabama coach Nick Saban had words with Yeldon when he reached the sideline and Yeldon issued a formal apology Monday morning for his actions. However, that must not have been satisfactory for Saban.

Yeldon is Alabama’s leading rusher with 224 yards (5.3 yards per carry), but could find himself fighting for playing time as his actions (and probably his fumble in the near the goal line against A&M) have opened the door for the other running backs behind him.
