Random offseason tweet of the day: Jim Tressel is a Tupac fan

With real games still months away, coaches and players will be tweeting about non-football-related things as the season approaches. In this space, we'll try to find the funniest and goofiest tweets of the day. If you see something, don't hesitate to send it to us.

We're starting off Tuesday with a ROTOTD because how often do you see former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel quoting Tupac?

Tressel has used the Quiet Time hashtag before, though it could be applicable to the NCAA's quiet recruiting period, which begins Tuesday. Until May 31, coaches aren't allowed to have contact with recruits.

He was a proponent of "quiet time" before practices at Ohio State, where the team would gather for 10 minutes of reflection.

Tressel is currently a vice president at Akron and has applied to be the president of Akron as well as the president of Youngstown State, the school he coached at before becoming the coach at Ohio State. Because of infractions incurred while he was at OSU, he's serving a NCAA show-cause penalty through 2016.

Given that Tuesday is also the day that 2013 taxes are due, there can be another meaning in Tressel's tweet if you want to go that route. If you're paying a lot of money in taxes on Tuesday, Wednesday is sure to be a brighter day.
