Welcome to our Dr. Saturday feature titled "Random offseason tweet of the day." With real games still months away, coaches and players will be tweeting about non-football-related things as the season approaches. In this space, we'll try to find the funniest and goofiest tweets of the day. If you see something, don't hesitate to send it to us.
The Big 12 unveiled its new, numerical-style logo last July and now, thanks to Jeff Barlow, Baylor’s director of equipment services, we get to see how the logo looks when sewn onto a uniform.
The Bears’ green jerseys arrived in Waco last week and the alternate black look arrived on campus on Thursday.
Here is another shot of the green unis. Numbers are gold. First pic didn't show the color too well. pic.twitter.com/nNsboOAMuV— Jeff Barlow (@JeffEquipBU) May 16, 2014
Barlow gave us a closer look at the new Big 12 patch adjacent to the Nike logo. To me, it looks pretty sharp.
I wasn’t a big fan of the new look when the logo was first unveiled last summer, but it looks great when stitched onto the Baylor uniform.
What do you think, Big 12 fans? We’re only 100 days away from seeing the logo in action on the field for the first time.
