Welcome to our Dr. Saturday feature titled "Random offseason tweet of the day." With real games still months away, coaches and players will be tweeting about non-football-related things as the season approaches. In this space, we'll try to find the funniest and goofiest tweets of the day. If you see something, don't hesitate to send it to us.
Georgia RB recruit Nick Chubb can jump.
The Rivals four-star RB in the class of 2014 has a 41-inch vertical. While this isn't exact proof of that number, this picture from a track meet certainly shows he has massive hops.
It dwarfs our vertical from mimicking the NFL combine in February.
Because of his position and future school the Herschel Walker comparisons are a natural fit. Last summer, he ran a 4.44 40-yard dash at the Nike SPARQ finals, where he also made his 41-inch leap. Not only is he fast and can jump really high, he's got an intimidating set of traps too.
He'll join a loaded backfield in Athens, Ga. in 2014 too. Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall will be juniors next year. But as the injury-plagued 2013 Bulldogs showed us, you can never have too many running backs.
