Pro wrestler Ric Flair will attend Michigan's National Signing Day

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has already made his antics leading up to National Signing Day national news, and now he’s trying to drum up attention for the day itself.

Michigan Athletics’ Twitter account began rolling out names of C-list invitees that will be making guest appearances during the Wolverines’ National Signing Day extravaganza.

That list included former players such as Desmond Howard and Denard Robinson, analysts like Todd McShay and Lou Holtz, and even Major League pitcher Derek Holland. But there was one revealed invitee that stood out above the rest.

Flair and Harbaugh are buds. Flair congratulated Harbaugh on Twitter following the 2015 season. Harbaugh, a noted pro wrestling enthusiast, offered to officiate a Flair-Hulk Hogan match.

In 2014, Harbaugh invited Flair to speak to the San Francisco 49ers prior the wildcard game against the Green Bay Packers.

While having Flair manning the fax machine is great and all, there are probably some recruits, namely the ones that have been dumped by Michigan in recent weeks, who would like to see Flair hit Harbaugh with a folding chair.
