Pizza place offers penny per point pizza if Arkansas beats Auburn

Welcome to our Dr. Saturday feature titled "Random offseason tweet of the day." With real games just days away, coaches and players are still tweeting about non-football-related things as the season approaches. In this space, we'll try to find the funniest and goofiest tweets of the day. If you see something, don't hesitate to send it to us.

There's not much downside to this promotion by an Arkansas pizza restaurant.

Eureka Pizza is promising that if Arkansas beats Auburn on Saturday, the first 1,000 fans on Monday September 1 at the location on the Arkansas campus will receive a large pizza for $0.01 per point. So if Arkansas scores 21 points, the pizza is just $0.21. The pizzas aren't exactly one cent pizzas because it's impossible to win a football game 1-0.

In case you were wondering about the discount on that pizza, it's not as much as you would think. Eureka Pizza is currently running $3.99 one-topping large pizza specials, so 21 points in a victory is only a savings of approximately 95 percent. You were expecting a better deal, weren't you?

The odds of 1,000 fans getting the deal is pretty slim anyway. The Hogs are 20-point underdogs to Auburn. But if Bret Bielema's team is closer to No. 1 than to No. 76, who knows?
