When you think of music that a player would listen to before a football game, what comes to mind? You would assume it would be something loud and aggressive to get a player pumped up, right?
Penn State true freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg laughs at your assumptions.
In a video posted to the Penn State football Facebook page, Hack and center Ty Howle are asked about their pregame rituals.
Hackenberg’s response is hilarious.
“Pregame on the bus headed over to the stadium, I’m usually just going through my call sheet. I sit next to Ty, or (guard) Miles (Dieffenbach) or (guard) John (Urschel) – whichever one decides to save me a seat – and I listen to some summer hits of the 90’s and just try to focus in and relax.”
That’s right. Christian Hackenberg listens to the summer hits of the 90’s before games.
What a boss.
