Besides being known for his social media prowess, Penn State offensive line coach Herb Hand is also a big hip-hop fan. He put that on display on Sunday.

Hand, who is also a food aficionado, teamed up Penn State student-run blog Onward State to hold the first annual “Herb Hand Pizza Crawl.”

For the price of a ticket and a t-shirt (all proceeds went to charity), participants toured several pizza establishments in the State College area with Hand and at one point the coach decided to put his rapping skills on display by dropping a few lines from Rakim’s “Microphone Fiend.”

The Pizza Crawl event raised close to $5,000 for charities, and Hand is hoping to one day move the event to a larger stage like Beaver Stadium.

We’ll leave you with a few of Coach Hand’s hip-hop picks that he’s tweeted out in recent weeks.

The man definitely has good taste.
