Oregon players show off blingy Rose Bowl rings
Oregon's 45-38 win over Wisconsin in the 2012 Rose Bowl was definitely cause for celebration since the Ducks hadn't won the famed bowl game in 95 years.
So, the Ducks were given some blingy Rose Bowl rings to commemorate the occasion.
According to Oregon, the rings are made from yellow or white semi-precious metal depending on the player's preference and contain 60 individual hand cut cubic zirconia stones across the top of the ring. The green stone is custom cut into an "O" shape and the Rose Bowl logo in red and green enamel.

The left side of the ring, which is not pictured, has the player's last name with the chrome duck-winged helmets and the player's jersey number. The right side says "2012 Champs" with the scripted Rose Bowl logo. The score is also on the right side as is the stadium façade with the Oregon motto, "Win the Day" on it.
While these might look a bit large, they seem to be par for the course when it comes to bowl rings. TCU's 2011 Rose Bowl rings were equally as large.

These are nice collectors pieces for each player to remember the history they made. And perhaps someday they'll be able to pass the ring down to a grandchild and tell them all about the time the Ducks broke a near-century long Rose Bowl curse.
