Auburn has had a tough season and despite prayers from Jonna Chizik, coach Gene Chizik's wife, Saturday's game against Ole Miss had the most Auburn start ever.
With 7:15 remaining in the first quarter, Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace handed the ball off to running back Randall Mackey, who faked the run and passed to a streaking Wallace who made an outstretched catch and ran into the end zone.
On the next Auburn possession, a snap went high and through quarterback Clint Moseley's hands. As he tried to dive on the ball before it went into the end zone, he slid past it and Ole Miss pounced to take a 14-0 lead in less than 2 minutes.
It's still early and Auburn did get one of the scores back, but that's definitely not the start the for which the Tigers were hoping.
