Texas and Oklahoma have both introduced new uniforms for this weekend’s annual Red River Rivalry game and they’re golden.
Yes, both teams will have a gold logo on their jerseys in honor of the “Golden Hat Trophy” awarded to the winner of the game and both team’s numbers will be outlined in gold.
Both teams reached an agreement with Nike to wear these special uniforms in each of the next two games.
They look pretty snazzy and while the changes to the uniforms might look identical, there is one small difference:

These uniforms are sharp and give this game the special touch it deserves. After all, it is one of the greatest rivalries in all of college football.
