Oklahoma State’s Zack Craig dates a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, but won’t set his teammates up with other cheerleaders

We learned earlier this year about the love life of Zack Craig, the Oklahoma State safety who is dating Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Jordan Daigle. It wasn’t your usual courtship, either.

In a story in the Tulsa World from August, Daigle said she saw Craig on television when he was going to midfield for a coin toss before last year’s overtime against Oklahoma. She followed him on Twitter. He followed her back. The two exchanged messages and began dating.

Months later, the two are still together and Craig was in attendance for the Cowboys’ season finale Sunday against the Eagles to see Daigle do her thing. Oklahoma State plays Missouri in the Cotton Bowl, so players and coaches from both teams were guests at the game.

Craig told the Tulsa World he made sure to watch both the game and his girlfriend, who rotated to different parts of the field every quarter.

“It was great being here and supporting her and also being with my teammates and seeing a great game,” Craig said. “It was bad that the Cowboys lost. I’m a big fan. But I had a great time and the Cotton Bowl gave us those free suites. It was just a great time overall.”

Craig added that his teammates often want him to play matchmaker with other cheerleaders, but he doesn’t comply.

“Guys, you’ve got to do it yourself,” he said. “It worked out for me, but good luck on your own.”

Ouch. You’d think a guy who met his girlfriend on social media would be more willing to share the love.
