Ohio State gets its rings for a 12-0 season

Nobody has celebrated a division championship in college football quite like this.

Ohio State won the Leaders Division in the Big Ten last year with a 12-0 record, but as we all know, they couldn't play for the conference title or a bowl game because of NCAA sanctions.

Still, as Cleveland.com points out, Ohio State coach Urban Meyer promised them rings for an undefeated season. And so the Buckeyes got their rings.

A couple coaches, including receivers coach Zach Smith, tweeted out a picture of the ring, along with the traditional Gold Pants for beating Michigan.

Anybody who wishes to criticize Ohio State for celebrating its NCAA-sanction shortened 12-0 season a little too much, this is probably as good of a time as any.
