Welcome to our Dr. Saturday feature titled "Random offseason tweet of the day." With real games still months away, coaches and players will be tweeting about non-football-related things as the season approaches. In this space, we'll try to find the funniest and goofiest tweets of the day. If you see something, don't hesitate to send it to us.
We’ve seen quite a few Ohio State and Michigan commits that haven’t even set foot on their respective campuses throw some lighthearted jabs at their future rival in recent weeks. On Tuesday, Ohio State 2015 commit Tyler Green got involved in a big way.
Green, a Rivals three-star safety from Hyattsville, Md. who committed to the Buckeyes earlier this month, was on Michigan’s campus with some teammates who were participating in a Wolverines camp.
He made sure to leave a lasting impression.
The 6-foot-2, 189-pound Green chose the Buckeyes over offers from Maryland, N.C. State, Indiana and Virginia, among others. According to his Rivals profile, Michigan showed some interest in Green, but I don’t see a scholarship offer coming his way after this.
