Notre Dame’s new unis seriously put the gold in Golden Dome

Notre Dame has unveiled its new alternate uniforms for its upcoming Shamrock Showdown with Arizona State on Oct. 5 at Cowboys Stadium, and oh my heavens do they look bright. From the glittery helmets to the glossy numerals to the better-hold-your-hands-right gloves, this is a fine alternate arrangement. Here are a couple more shots:

The specs: these are adidas' TECHFIT jerseys, and the socks are Team Speed verticals. The cleats are adizero 5-Star 2.0, but then you already knew that. These are fine-looking uniforms, and it's probably best that they're alternates; it'd be a shame to get Stanford cleat-marks all over them.
