Northwestern rarely has been good at football but it is known as one of the best journalism schools in the country. One of the first rules of journalism is spelling names correctly.

So what do you suppose Northwestern got wrong today when it presented some members of ESPN's GameDay crew with custom jerseys?

Yep, jerseys given to analysts Kirk Herbstreit and David Pollack had the names misspelled (Herbstriet and Pollock).

Speaking of Pollack, he shared a controversial view on a group he doesn't believe should have a voice on the Football Playoff selection committee.

The GameDay crew is set up in Evanston this week for one of the games of the week with No. 4 Ohio State visiting the 16th-ranked Wildcats at 8 p.m. EST.
