North Carolina coach Larry Fedora, with blue hair, sits with students at UNC basketball game

We like stories that involve a college football coach letting his hair down a bit, and even better when the coach's hair is Carolina blue and spiked up.

North Carolina football coach Larry Fedora took in the Tar Heels' basketball win against Florida State on Sunday, which isn't too unusual. A lot of football coaches like to take in a basketball game, and they can usually land good seats too.

Not too many dress up like a student and sit in the student section for the afternoon.

We know Fedora didn't paint his hair blue for the game. The blue hair on top looks like a wig that is part of the visor he's wearing. Here's another look at it from Reddit. But still, we're not deducting any points from Fedora's A-plus effort to have a great time at the hoops game and act half his age for an afternoon. Not too many college coaches would go sit in the student section for the heck of it (though we know Brady Hoke would troll the opponent's student section).

But, being that Fedora is at one of the few schools in which football is not king, perhaps he was just trying to convince Roy Williams to go sit in the student section for a game on Saturday this fall to drum up interest. Blue wig optional.
