Thursday was pro day at Texas A&M, so all eyes were on Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel. Manziel is considered a first round pick for May’s NFL Draft, but there have still been questions raised about his size and throwing ability and his instinct to run instead of face a blitz head-on.
The thing was a spectacle as coaches from almost every NFL team made the trip to College Station. Even George H.W. Bush was in attendance for some reason, and by all accounts, Manziel performed very well.
Unlike many other pro prospects, Manziel decided to run through his pro day drills while wearing shoulder pads and a helmet. He was wearing Nike from head to toe, and while pro day was wrapping up, Nike revealed that a Johnny Manziel Pro Day line of clothes and equipment was available for purchase.
A Pro Day Collection is a new one for me, but I was looking for another pair of “Pro-Combat Recovery Hypertights,” so now I can be like Johnny Manziel does while I blog. They are only $140!
I also might have to upgrade to the Manziel-style compression sleeve. Blogging is tough on the elbows.
Unfortunately, the camouflage shorts Manziel wore are not yet available.
