New Bowling Green head coach Dino Babers learned a few things about offensive tempo during his four-year stint as an offensive assistant under Art Briles’ at Baylor, and he intends to bring a similar philosophy to the MAC.

To promote the Falcons’ new brand of offense, Bowling Green has released two videos this offseason reflecting its new “falcon fast” tempo.

The first video, released in April, showed Babers sitting in a cop car with an officer as cars pass on the highway. Even when a car flies by at 95 MPH, it’s not quite up to Babers’ standard for “falcon fast.”

Bowling Green dropped another video on Wednesday with athletic director Chris Kingston. Kingston is cruising through campus when he notices that BG logos have overtaken the campus’ speed limit signs before he finds a familiar culprit.

Babers will make his debut as Bowling Green coach in the season opener at Western Kentucky on August 29.
