Earlier this week, Alabama offered an eighth grader, who already had an offer from LSU, a scholarship to play football in the fall of 2017.
But new Nevada head coach Brian Polian, who came from Texas A&M and knows that getting an early recruiting edge is key, is taking his recruiting a step further.
Since schools are offering 8th graders now - I am going to start offering 4th graders. My nephew, Jack Polian, is a baller! :)

Polian jokingly tweeted this out Thursday afternoon as a response to the recruitment of linebacker/running back Dylan Moses of the University Middle Cubs. Moses isn’t exactly your typical eighth grader. He’s 6-foot-1, 215 pounds, which is why he’s drawing so much interest.
If Polian’s nephew Jack has similar measurements in fourth grade, Polian might be on to something.
