Fashion trends move fast, and in college football, white is the new black.

All-black uniforms are so yesterday, as Mississippi State has unveiled an all-white uniform for its Nov. 3 game against Texas A&M, and a white jersey/pants combination with gold numbers for "The Egg Bowl" game against Ole Miss on Nov. 24.

The all-white look for the game against the Aggies is a nod to the famous "Snow Bowl" game between Mississippi State and Texas A&M. That 2000 Independence Bowl is one of the more memorable bowl games in history because of the driving snowstorm that provided a great scene for television, and the game itself. Mississippi State rallied to win 43-41 in overtime.

The "Snow Bowl" uniforms are cool for two reasons: They are a creative way to throw back to one of the most iconic bowl games in recent history, and they're not your standard all-black look. The jerseys for the "Battle for the Golden Egg" game against Ole Miss are interesting too, a similar concept to what Mississippi State wore last year for the game.

Thumbs up, Bulldogs.
