"The 10-second rule is like asking basketball to take away the shot clock - Boring!" Gundy tweeted Thursday. "It's like asking a blitzing linebacker to raise his hand."

Wednesday was a big day for Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. The tenth-year head coach turned 47, and to help Gundy celebrate his birthday, the Oklahoma State marching band gave a him a special surprise performance.

Gundy has been known to show off his dance moves from time to time, and Wednesday was no different.

Per The Oklahoman, Gundy’s wife and marching band assistant director Wayne Bovenshcen set up the surprise, which took place as the Cowboys wrapped up a morning practice session. Gundy was presented with a happy birthday banner, too.

“I don’t know who contacted them and brought them over, but it was neat,” Gundy said.

Anything that gets Gundy dancing is OK by us. Kudos to all involved.
