A 295-pound offensive lineman scored the only touchdown in Michigan State’s Green-White spring game on Saturday, and it was set up by a 15-yard run from another lineman.

Late in the first quarter with the game still scoreless, Spartans quarterback Connor Cook took a shotgun snap for the White team and rolled left. At the last second he looked back to the right and found a wide open Donavon Clark behind the line of scrimmage.

The 317-pound starting right guard caught the pass and scampered to the three-yard line.

On the very next play, Cook handed off to senior center Jack Allen, who followed his blockers and into the end zone.

After the game, which the White team won 9-3, Allen said he’ll always remember scoring his touchdown.

"It's something I'm going to hold on to forever," Allen said. "I'll be able to say I scored a touchdown in the spring game. But it's just surreal, really. Fat guys don't usually get to carry the ball. I get to touch it every play, but usually just for a half of a second and then it's gone."
