Michigan QB commit takes shots at Ohio State on Twitter

It’s never too early to play your part in the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry. Just ask Michigan commit Alex Malzone.

Malzone is a Rivals four-star recruit in the class of 2015 from Bloomfield Hills, Mich. who committed to play for the Wolverines in May. He was participating in an Elite 11 (a competition which finds the nation’s top 11 high school quarterbacks) event in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend and performed well enough to earn a spot in the finals.

Based on his tweets, Malzone was feeling pretty good about himself on his way back up to Michigan from Columbus. Of course, he made sure to throw a dig at Ohio State in the process.

Predictably, Ohio State fans weren’t a fan of Malzone’s comment, but he didn’t seem to care.

I’m willing to bet that Ohio State fans are going to remember this one once Malzone finally takes the field for the Wolverines.
