Michigan coach Brady Hoke will honor his friend Chuck Pagano this weekend by having his staff wear the ChuckStrong T-shirts that were created by the Indianapolis Colts.
Pagano, the head coach of the Colts, was diagnosed with leukemia and is on leave with the team while he battles the disease. The Colts decided to create ChuckStrong shirts to support the coach and made $90,000 off sales during the Colts game against the Green Bay Packers last weekend.
The money was given to the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center.
Now, Hoke wants to contribute as well.
According to JMV, host of The Ride with JMV on 1070 The Fan in Indianapolis, Hoke purchased 50 shirts for his staff to wear during its game against Illinois at Michigan Stadium. The shirts cost $20 at the Colts Pro Shop if you want to join the cause.
What a cool thing for Hoke to do to support his friend and show that Pagano's effect on football reaches beyond the NFL.
