Memphis quarterback Jacob Karam takes part in adorable duet at children’s hospital

Eleven-year-old Breanna Bercegeay is staying at the Target House at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., where she is fighting AML Leukemia. On Monday night, she heard music coming from downstairs and went to investigate, where she found Memphis quarterback Jacob Karam playing piano. Karam had been volunteering for a scavenger hunt when he started tinkling the ivories.

Breanna sat down with Karam and began to sing along, the two even looking up lyrics to Jessie J's "Price Tag" on an iPhone so they could continue the duet. Breanna's mom, Dara, said the above video is just one of 10 songs the pair performed together.

During an offseason full of student-athletes embarrassing themselves and their universities, it's nice to have the opportunity to spotlight something as great as this. Karam and the Tigers open play September 7 against Duke.
