On Thursday, a local Birmingham, Alabama news crew came along for the ride with police officers in Etowah County as they conducted several drug raids across the area.
The news crew captured several men being arrested and handcuffed as police arrived. With a reporter and camera in their face, most of the suspects turned away and had nothing to say. One guy, wearing Alabama Crimson Tide pajamas, took a different approach.
“I’m innocent! Roll Tide!” he said, eliciting a smile from the officer to his right.
The priceless one-liner comes around the 40-second mark in the video.
The man, who was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, went on to admit to the reporter that he did not have a prescription for the pills found by the officers.
