Quarterback Colby Cameron now holds the FBS record for consecutive passes without an interception. Russell Wilson, who played for NC State and Wisconsin, set the record of 379. Cameron passed that mark in the first quarter, and pushed the record to 419 by the end of the night.
Cameron may not have been the most impressive offensive player for the Bulldogs on Saturday against Texas State.
Freshman running back Kenneth Dixon scored five touchdowns, four rushing and one receiving, to get his own records. He passed Marshall Faulk for most touchdowns, most rushing touchdowns, and most points scored in a season by a freshman (Ryan Williams of Virginia Tech and Faulk were tied for the freshman rushing touchdown mark). Not bad company to keep. Dixon has 25 touchdowns, 24 of which are rushing touchdowns, and 150 points this season.
High-scoring Louisiana Tech improved to 9-1 with the 62-55 win over Texas State. The game had 1,204 combined yards, and Louisiana Tech scored on all but two possessions. Just another week for the Bulldogs.
