Les Miles would like to educate you on Columbus Day (Video)
Les Miles isn’t just some empty-headed football coach. He knows stuff. Stuff about holidays and stuff.
And Monday, when speaking at his weekly media day, he decided to educate his media on Columbus Day (which was Monday, in case you didn’t know).
“Good afternoon. I just wanted to remind everybody that it’s Columbus Day,” Miles said. “All those of you that know Italians, like Italians, or the people that might venture onto a ship and travel to explore and find new lands, this is your day.”
Well OK then.
That makes Columbus Day so much clearer, Les. Thank you.
Oh, there’s one other thing Miles wanted to remind his media:
“It’s not St. Patty’s day — that’s a different day entirely.”
See, I told you Les Miles knows stuff. Not sure where we’d be without him imparting his knowledge to the rest of us. We are forever grateful.
